Thanks for a great show @ NRF FOMO

Watch the Sessions

There’s no question – NRF 2022 looked a little different this year. It was the first time that retail’s biggest show was in-person since 2020 and the annual conference was scheduled to take place right after a substantial wave of Omicron swept the U.S.

In late December, vendors, attendees, exhibitors, and speakers began to reconsider attendance, and the entire industry was watching closely to see what would unfold. Ultimately, NRF announced that the Big Show must go on! With attendees wandering the Javits center in masks, an emptier expo floor than usual, and many speakers dialed in virtually, it was an NRF unlike any other before it.

But even though the conversations were via zoom or through masks, they were exceptional. With positive forecasts for 2022, insights about retail’s path forward, and amazing retailer stories, NRF was filled with innovation and hope.

When retailers gather together, the magic really does happen. That’s why we decided to bring the best of NRF to folks who couldn’t make the show this year.

NRF FOMO, Zipline’s virtual experience was the first of its kind… and it was a total blast.

If you missed out twice, here’s what went down:

🧘 An exclusive live Q+A experience with lululemon

We all namastayed at home to catch this exclusive live Q+A with lululemon! It was so amazing to hear how lululemon empowers store teams, drives store execution, and wows with customer engagement. (Bonus points for those of us who caught it from our yoga mats)

🔮 Technology experts weigh in on industry trends for the year ahead

When you walk the show floor of NRF, you can meet dozens of technology vendors in a single day. In this session, we replicated that experience by having leading retail technology companies share a trend or important theme in 2022 and share why their solution hits the mark. (This way attendees can walk the whole expo floor without the blisters 👣

👀 A Look BACK at NRF and What it Tells Us About the Year AHEAD

Jerry Sheldon, VP of Technology, IHL Services, who has attended NRF for nearly three decades, didn’t let the pandemic stop him from attending this year, too. Jerry walked the floor and attended sessions, taking copious mental notes about what’s new and exciting and he joined us to share his learnings.

Jerry shared:

  • What made this NRF different
  • Research insights that point to the changing role of the store
  • Key findings from the Retail Exec survey and what they signal for the year ahead
  • How the customer journey is evolving
  • …And much more
