Zipline University Is Here

Introducing Retail’s First Execution Certification
Two presenters stand on a stage in front of an audience at a Zipline University event, with a large Zipline University logo and Summer Camp '25 signage in the background.

Zipline Summer Camp is officially underway, and today we unveiled something brand new for our incredible community of retail operators:

Zipline University is our first-ever certification and training program built specifically for store-focused teams.

Whether you’re a communications champion, a field leader, or an ops all-star, Zipline University gives you the tools (and the cred) to drive flawless execution across your fleet. And it’s available to every Zipline customer starting today.

What’s Zipline University?

Zipline University is a self-paced learning experience that helps you become an expert in the platform that powers your stores. Think of it as your front-row seat to Zipline best practices — with a certificate to prove it.

Each certification is:

Clear and actionable

Easy to complete at your own pace

Totally celebratory (there are stickers!)

Graduates walk away with:

  • An official Zipline Certification
  • A LinkedIn badge + share kit to announce their success
  • The confidence and skills to drive flawless execution

If you’re here at Summer Camp, you might’ve already seen certified customers proudly sporting their stickers – proof that they’re not just users of Zipline, but leaders in operational excellence. (Class of 2025 is looking strong )

Why Certification Matters

A pile of red and orange circular stickers labeled "Zipline University Certified" with a graduation cap and a "Z" in the center.

Being Zipline Certified isn’t just about checking a box. It’s about signaling to your team (and the broader industry) that you understand what great execution looks like, and how to get there.

This is a scalable, sustainable way for Zipline users to:

  • Standardize onboarding for new Zipline users
  • Elevate power users and comms leads
  • Celebrate team members who are driving results

Zipline University gives individuals a way to showcase their skills in a format that’s credible, consistent, and genuinely enjoyable to complete. But more importantly, it helps teams scale what works.

The best retail organizations don’t just invest in tools — they invest in people. Confident, well-equipped employees move faster, communicate more clearly, and lead with impact.

We’ve seen firsthand how a single engaged power user can raise the bar for an entire team. Zipline University was designed to amplify that effect across roles, regions, and organizations, turning everyday users into champions of execution.

Certification unlocks a few key outcomes:

  • Standardized onboarding across departments and roles
Faster time to value for new Zipline users
  • A pathway for internal champions to grow their impact
  • More consistent outcomes across locations and regions

In short? It gives retailers a new lever to scale execution without adding complexity.

How It Works

We’ve built Zipline University to be as frictionless as possible — and to work across a variety of roles and learning styles.

  1. Take the Courses
Complete the self-paced training whenever it works for you.

  2. Earn Your Badge
After passing the final quiz, you’ll receive an official Zipline Certification — plus a shareable LinkedIn post and badge image.

  3. Add to Your Profile
Want your certification to stick? We’ve made it easy to add it to your LinkedIn profile, complete with a video walkthrough and simplified instructions.

We intentionally designed this to be more than a vanity post. Adding it to your LinkedIn makes your knowledge visible and lasting,  and helps Zipline-certified retailers stand out from the pack.

As Seen at Summer Camp

Today’s big reveal came with big energy. From the moment Zipline University was announced on stage, certified customers started showing off their new credentials (and their stickers).

Three people stand in front of a red Zipline backdrop, smiling and holding up round Zipline-branded stickers or badges.

Two women stand on stage giving a presentation at a conference called "Summer Camp '25" while attendees listen from the audience.

A woman with curly red hair smiles and shakes hands with a seated attendee at a conference, while others watch and applaud.
