At Zipline, we’ve always done things a little differently. We don’t have a headquarters. We don’t believe in rigid schedules or one-size-fits-all office culture. Since our founding, we’ve been proudly remote-first—because we believe the best work happens when people are empowered to show up as their whole selves, wherever they are.
And that includes the ones we love most: our pets.
Whether it’s a midday walk with your dog, a cat curled up in your lap, or a feathered friend chirping in the background of a Zoom call, life at Zipline means sharing our days with our favorite non-human coworkers. They’re part of our workdays. Part of our wellness. And in many ways, part of our team.
This past National Pet Month, we spotlighted the Zippets—our team’s beloved pets who bring joy, laughter, and just the right amount of chaos to the virtual office. From emotional support animals to productivity disruptors, these fuzzy companions remind us every day why we’re grateful to work at a company that prioritizes flexibility, empathy, and real connection.
So whether you’re here for the cute pictures (we get it) or curious about what remote life at Zipline really looks like… meet the Zippets.
Meet the Zippets
Maple, Director of Distraction (her human is Amanda V.)
This boxer/bull terrier mix is a professional Zoom crasher who demands attention at all times. If she’s not climbing into your lap or pawing at your shoulder, she’s reluctantly settling in for a power nap mid-meeting.
Eyeore, Executive Pup-erations Manager (her human is Alyson K.)
With a steady paw and a soulful gaze, Eyeore keeps the household running on time (and on treat). She’s a pro at quiet supervision, midday morale boosts, and ensuring no walk opportunity goes unfulfilled. Calm, collected, and committed to the cuddle calendar.
️♀️ Bobby, Director of Corpawrate Espionage & Paper Shredding (her human is Ben C.)
The youngest of five and the office’s tiniest saboteur, Bobby has a reputation for launching surprise leg claws the moment her human comes off mute. She is always watching. Always plotting.
Rangely & Minnie (their human is Sara B.)
Rangely, VP of Enter & Exit Strategy, is a certified drama queen known affectionately as “Cry Baby Range” due to her round-the-clock vocalizations. Snow is her favorite coworking environment.
Minnie, Senior Laptop Warmer, prefers chaos. She chases Rangely, climbs trees, dominates the laptop, and occasionally hides in the bathtub for unknown strategic purposes.
Zeema & ️ Dexter (their human is Gavin M.)
Zeema, Senior Howling Strategist, is the undisputed queen of the dog park and master of morale-boosting vocalizations. She melts hearts with strategic lap placement at quitting time.
Dexter, Chief Security Overreaction Officer, lives for routine and barking at all perceived threats—including friendly dogs. He has a signature toothy grin and absolutely cannot function without Zeema nearby.
️Bari, Scrum Pawrtner (his human is David D.)
Equal parts adorable and disciplined, Bari has been asked for cuddles mid-walk by total strangers, starred in a pro photo shoot, and can even tell left from right. He lives for lunchtime strolls, post-snack focus sprints, and could probably lead Zipline’s next fitness challenge.
️ Sam, Chief Pawperations Officer (his human is Isabelle H.)
When Sam wants attention, he gently “steals” all the throw pillows and piles them in his bed (but never chews them!). He’s also known for refusing to come inside unless the door is opened twice.
Leonidas (Leo), Senior Manager, Separation Anxiety (his human is James K.)
Leo lives to attack arms mid-presentation and is known for his dramatic timing when it comes to hairballs. He demands constant attention, preferably while sitting on your keyboard.
Cava, Director of Snugs (her human is Bradley S.)
This petite Goldendoodle can sniff out cheese from across the house and delivers surprise kissies during Zooms. She’s also a certified up-up champion.
Louie, Sr. Mgr of Snuggling (his human is Nicole M.)
Adopted from Korea, Louie’s middle name is Elton (as in John). He’s always ready to hold hands at inconvenient times—and we let him.
Biggie Smols, Lead Paw-duct Manager (his human is Eric J.)
Biggie always leads the pack on hikes and insists on perching atop sofa cushions like royalty. His love language? Snacks.
Rookie, Director of Stalking (his human is Richard G.)
Rookie does the iconic head tilt when you talk to him and smacks his lips in anticipation of treats. He’s rarely been alone thanks to remote work—and he plans to keep it that way.
Miss Mary Jane & Mr. Osito (their human is Meagan S.)
Miss Mary Jane, VP of Field Ops & Trail Compliance, runs a tight ship when it comes to monitoring everything. From bird fly-bys to post-Zoom silences, she ensures no moment goes unacknowledged—and no treat opportunity missed.
Mr. Osito, Chief Routine Orchestration Officer, is a certified cuddle giant with a big heart and a bigger network. Known for rogue neighborhood adventures and high-level diplomacy with local wildlife, Osito runs a tight calendar of walk blocks and bonus snuggles.
Stevie, Head of Threat Assessment (her human is Laura C.)
Equal parts cuddle bug and chaos goblin, Stevie is highly suspicious of anything new, lies in puddles like a hippo, and hates fruit with a passion. But belly rubs? Yes, always.
Tofu & Bean, Geologist + Olympian (their human is Stephanie H.)
Tofu lives for swimming and digging up rocks (geologist vibes). She also has the world’s longest tongue and zero sense of smell.
Bean is engaged to his long-distance fiancé Mylo (a Jack Russell) and is known for his unprompted back-scratching and scooter-level speed.
Duesy, Barketing Manager (his human is Briana L.)
Specializing in bark-to-bark content strategy and nap-fueled insights, Duesy has a back so long it needs its own editorial calendar. Deadlines may shift based on naps.
Ali’ikai (Ali Girl), Chief of Product Control & Breaktime Enforcement (her human is Nicole F.)
Ali Girl is a lap-dwelling, bird-loving, vacuum-hating husky mix who just wants to be part of the action. She’s got The Office-style camera stares down to a science.
Rio, Chief Borker (her human is Rebecca P.)
Rio is a Saudi rescue with a heart of gold and the energy of a kangaroo. She steals books, howls like a husky, and will knock you over at 100mph just to say hi.
Bubs Sparkles Jewels Rainbow, Captain Snoozer (her human is Cadie M.)
Her name is extra, and so is her nap game. Bubs is a professional photo bomber, mid-call sleeper, and all-around glam cat with nothing to prove and everything to nap through.
️ Harry Kelln, Kitty Cat Wannabe (his human is Vanessa J.)
Harry enjoys the finer things: brie, prosciutto, and uninterrupted snoozes in the human bed. He’s a beach-loving, tummy-rub-demanding gentleman who refuses to jump in—but never says no to a car ride.
Steele, Chief Mooood Officer (his human is Meagan S.)
Our first baby cow and honorary Zippet! Brings tiny moo content and major main character energy. Follow Steele!
Nika, Director of Wildlife Commentary (her human is Veronica G.)
Prefers her bandana with a view. Found chittering at birds and chipmunks from her favorite perch— impeccably styled.
Bud & Rylee, Co-Chairs of Gratitude & Tail Wags (their human is Tanya A.)
These rescue sweethearts are grateful for the swag, the snugs, and every moment of remote life. Known for synchronized cuteness and being very good coworkers.
Why We Love Working from Home
Working from home doesn’t just mean flexibility—it means more time with the ones who matter most. For many of us, these pets are more than companions. They’re stress relievers, mid-meeting mood boosters, and unexpected teachers of presence, joy, and unconditional love.
At Zipline, we’re building a culture that celebrates the whole lives of our teammates—including the furry, feathered, and floofy members of the family. The Zippets remind us every day: when we feel supported and seen, we do our best work.
