Design Elements

Zipline design elements are assets that help to further the brand. They can be used as accents or as a main feature in designs to conceptualize partnerships

Ticker Tape

As a way to easily identify Ziplines ability to transform businesses and retail communications in a visual way, the Powered by Zipline Label can be used in image treatments, or on its own. The labels can be used in a number of brand color combinations and as a way to add depth to layouts, can be used in front of or behind subjects in photographs (as seen in the example to the below).

The Zipline Seal

The Zipline seal offers a customized touch when brands choose to operate with Zipline to solidify the bond between Zipline and the company being supported. They can be used as an added design element that further drives home the partnership between Zipline and the brands they empower. When using the seal in visual communications ensure the same rules for the Zipline logo and symbol are being followed for optimum readability. In the case of image overlay, place a circle with a brand color fill behind the seal.

Image Treatments

As a way to inject the Zipline brand into purchased image assets, painterly color washes can be used to customize stock photography. When subjects are cut out of the background and duplicated over top of swirling painterly graphics, the images come to life — evoking a sense of wonder akin to Ziplines products and services. These shapes can be used to symbolize streamlining, or be the colorful backdrop behind a store worker to show how Zipline loves empowering brands. They can also be used to showcase the product in form of a colorful basksplash.

Avatars

Perfect for use in case studies and success stories, stock photography can be turned into a dynamic brand asset by way of avatars. Using the same painterly graphics seen in the image treatments section, masking subjects from photography's inside of circles are a more engaging way to suggest store employees (as opposed to illustrations and iconography). Avatars should be the same as Zipline's photography choices: authentic and not too staged.

Pictograms

For instances of aspirational storytelling, the Zipline brand can employ pictograms. These images are meant to convey an emotional component that icons alone can't do. These can be used across any number of touchpoints including case study decks, product and the Zipline website. Zipline uses pictograms in place of vector art and iconography to maintain a tone of authenticity and create a unique branding experience that pairs well with it's colors and shapes. If use of vector art is being requested, the Zipline design team should be consulted first.
